"Focus on key halloween party table centrepieces to really impress your guests"

Halloween party table setting

As the nights begin to draw in and the temperature drops, we turn our attention to holidays and festivals to lift our spirits. The first of those is Halloween!

Once the trick or treating is done, it's time to feed those hungry mouths and what better setting than a perfectly decorated halloween party table!

Selecting from carefully curated collections of halloween party table decorations and tableware will help create a cohesive look with minimal effort.

One of our favourites here at Jolie Fête is Ginger Ray's ‘Pick Your Poison’ collection. We love the the black and purple colour way that makes for a spooky yet sophisticated look. Pick from a selection of products for your perfect halloween party table….

'Pick Your Poison' Halloween Party Table Centrepiece

The star piece of any halloween party table setting has to be the centrepiece. The ‘Pick Your Poison’ range wont disappoint with its Haunted House Halloween Treat Stand available from us for just £13.75.

Think wickedly delicious black velvet cupcakes topped with marshmallow ghosts, spooky mummy cookies and of course no halloween party table would be complete without dozens of chocolate eyeballs!

There are tons of ideas out there - let your imagination run wild! The best bit about these halloween party table treat stands? They're competly reusable for next halloween, and probably even the one after!

Halloween Party Table Grazing Boards

A great alternative to a treat stand is a halloween party table grazing board.

This is our particular favourite from Ginger Ray's ‘Fright Night’ range, the Halloween Skeleton Grazing Board. This spine-tingling skeleton with moving arms and legs is a great alternative to your traditional grazing board, and will spook your guests silly as they reach for a snack on your halloween party table!

Try covering with cured meats, olives, sun dried tomatoes and mozzarella balls for a savoury snack feast.

As well as this fab grazing board the ‘Fright Night’ range also includes tableware, balloons and decorations. We really love the blood bags and test tubes as an alternative to paper cups for drinks at your halloween party table - creepy!

Other Halloween party table ideas - Setting the mood for a spooky good time

Halloween is the perfect time to get creative with your table decorations. Whether you're hosting a family-friendly gathering or a more adult-oriented party, there are plenty of ways to set the mood for a spooky good time.

Here are a few ideas for your halloween party table to get you started:

Start with the tablecloth

A black tablecloth is a classic choice for Halloween, but you can also get creative with other colors and patterns. For example, a dark green or purple tablecloth would create a more elegant and sophisticated look, while a tablecloth with a cobweb or skull print would be more fun and whimsical.

Add a centerpiece

No Halloween party table is complete without a centerpiece. As well as our suggestions above, you can create your own centerpiece using pumpkins, gourds, candles, and other spooky decorations. For example, you could carve a pumpkin and place it in the center of the table, or you could arrange a group of gourds and candles on a tray.

Don't forget the dishes and napkins

Even the smallest details can make a difference when it comes to Halloween party table decorations. Choose dishes and napkins in black, orange, or purple, or with Halloween-themed designs. We sell a whole range of  disposable paper plates and napkins with Halloween designs, which are a really great option if you're having a large party and want to minimise the clearing up at the end of the evening!

Add other spooky accents

Once you have the basics in place, you can add other spooky accents to your halloween party table to complete the look. For example, you could scatter fake spiders and webs around the table, or place a few skull candlesticks or candy dishes. You could also hang a Halloween banner or streamers from the ceiling. Check out our halloween balloon arches for a real wow effect.

Here are a few more specific Halloween party table decoration ideas:

  • Spider web chandelier: This is a simple but effective way to add a spooky touch to your table. Simply hang a spider web from the ceiling and add a few plastic spiders.
  • Floating candles: Fill a glass vase with water and add a few floating candles. Place the vase in the center of your table for a spooky and elegant look.
  • Pumpkin carving contest: If you're hosting a party for kids, have a pumpkin carving contest. Let the kids carve their own pumpkins and then display them on the table.
  • Bloody handprints: For a more gruesome look, make some bloody handprints on your tablecloth. Simply mix some red food coloring with water and dip your hands in the mixture. Then, press your hands onto the tablecloth to create handprints.

No matter what your style is, there are plenty of ways to decorate your halloween party table. Get creative and have fun with it!
